Buyer's Closing Day

What does it Look like to close on a house?

We meet at the Title company. They will ask for your ID. They make a copy for their records.

We then are shown to an office where we get to look over a lot of documents.

These documents are the settlement statement that shows the final numbers, the loan application to re-sign, the mortgage and note for your loan, tax documents, and disclosures.

After signing documents, we will wait for the seller to sign their documents and bring the keys.

When all the documents are signed they will be submitted to the lender for a final review.

When the lender has approved it, they allow the file to fund. That means you have officially purchased a home. Within a few days the documents should be recorded with the court house.
